Why not just go cheapest?

Cheap costs more than you think.

A trade-plate driver off Facebook saves you £30, until the first no-show, the first uninsured damage claim, or the first time the car turns up with damage nobody documented. For a vehicle you can't afford to get wrong, that's the wrong saving.

The £30-cheaper option
  • No-shows and no updates
  • No insurance paper trail when something's damaged
  • Still on paperwork, not an app
  • Whoever turns up, turns up
Booking it in with MDM
  • Collected on the agreed day, tracked on the portal
  • Fully insured, BVRLA member, every move documented
  • Digital condition report with photos, collection to delivery
  • A uniformed driver your customer is glad to see
“Exceptional service and value for money. Vehicle was collected from Colchester and delivered to Birmingham within 4 hours of making payment. Excellent communication and thorough pre-collection vehicle appraisal. Thank you.”

FAQs

Driven questions

What is a trade plate driver?
A trade plate driver is a professional driver who collects and delivers vehicles on trade plates on behalf of dealers, fleets and private customers. At MDM our trade-plate drivers move cars and vans nationwide, fully insured, with an electronic appraisal at each end.
Does my vehicle need an MOT to be driven?
Yes. To be legally driven on UK roads a vehicle must be roadworthy and hold a current MOT. If it is not roadworthy we can move it on a transporter instead.
Do you deliver across the whole UK?
Yes. We collect and deliver cars and vans across mainland UK from our central Midlands base on the motorway network.
What does your car collection and delivery service include?
A professional trade-plate driver collects the vehicle and delivers it door to door, with tax and insurance covered, basic oil, water and tyre checks, and an electronic appraisal with photos at both ends, booked to your timeframe.
